access2insight (a2i) develops and implements data-driven strategies that enable marketers to make better decisions and build stronger direct relationships with consumers. Our team has unique experience applying rigorous analytic approaches in less “data-rich” environments (ex: Consumer Packaged Goods) and for clients in the early stages of understanding and leveraging their data. We address a variety of client needs, focusing primarily on i) end-to-end CRM solutions; ii) data-driven strategies; and iii) sales + marketing integration.

In late 2012 we founded a2i, leaving a larger organization to start one that embodied our vision of how to treat clients and employees while building an enduring, high-growth business. We have quickly built a roster of industry-leading clients within CPG, Retail, Healthcare, and Hospitality and continue to grow at a fast pace.


We’re looking to add a smart, analytical and driven individual to our Chicago team. Key qualities include:

This person will work with senior leadership to deliver on key client objectives while also helping guide and develop new associates, and is positioned to make an immediate impact on our fast-growing company. Key areas of responsibility are listed below:

  •  Data-Driven Strategy
    • Design client testing/learning plans and deep-dive analyses; prioritizing, overseeing, and directly contributing to work plans
    • Analyze client data (primarily in SAS) and develop strategies to address client business needs
    • Synthesize findings from analyses into essential insights and actionable recommendations and communicate these learnings effectively to clients and other stakeholders
    • Partner with our modeling / execution specialists to ensure strategies are properly implemented
    • Develop and automate reporting to assess marketing campaign performance
  • Development of a2i’s Analytic Expertise
    • Manage workloads, deliverables and the analytic development of new associates
    • Provide regular leadership and guidance while also contributing individually to deliverables
    • Build positive relationships with others through effective coaching, constructive feedback and a positive attitude
    • Develop processes and tools to improve efficiency on analytic assignments

  • New Business
    • Assist on business development efforts with potential / existing clients
    • Lead onboarding of new clients and projects, including defining our approach, conducting data analysis, producing and presenting final deliverables


  • 5+ years’ analytical and/or marketing strategy experience 
  • Demonstrated high level of action-orientation and a self-starter mentality
  • Experience developing and managing others
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on analytic / quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in SAS, SQL, or similar programming language(s)
  • Strong presentation, writing, and communication skills
